Rumor has it that Apple will release the iPad 3 in February 2012. In an investigative note dispatched recently, Richard Gardner stated “a few sources point toward Apple launching their next generation iOS tablet leastways 30 days earlier than the release of the iPad 2 last year.
The iPad’s 3 screen will feature double the resolution of the iPad 2.” This was the message related by Business Insider. “It seems as if all the technical barriers have been rectified, and there’s no reason not to release the next-generation tablet,” fitting in to a Citi analyst. Additionally, Gardner forecast that Apple’s ending iPad count for the fourth quarter of 2011 aspiring near the twelve and thirteen million unit mark.
Altogether, Apple favours to release new versions of its common consumer hardware goods at a distance of annual, however, there are exceptions. Like when Apple released the iPhone 4S in October, approximately a year and a half after making the iPhone 4 approachable in June 2010. Even out though the order may not seem significant, seeing that the iPad is still in it second generation, Apple did manage to hit the U.S. release date of the iPad 2 by around three weeks. This brought in it approachable the third month of 2011 in contrast to availability of the original iPad in the fourth month of 2010. Keeping that in the vanguard, putting the iPad 3 release date even out later in to February wouldn't be remarkably outrageous. Before, reports stated that the iPad 3 release was planned for around March 2012.
However, Gardner is right in stating that issues with the new tablet’s retina display have been taken care of regardless of rumors stating the opponent. It will be clever of Apple to launch their next-generation tablet sooner instead of later. For example, Apple is still a pioneer in the consumer tablet market, but its contenders are starting to make them a little nervous. The innovative Android tablets, similar to the Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime, seem to be more competitor for the iOS based iPad than the original first generation of tablets, fitting in to Google’s mobile operating structure.
Less expensive, and smaller sized devices like Barnes & Noble’s Nook Tablet, and Amazon’s Kindle Fire, or even out a sub [$100.00] tablet utilizing a MIPS-based chip, are beginning to come into view. Apple can beat the competition from closely priced Android tablets by getting its best and latest tablet technology on the market a bit earlier than expected. This would create a reduction in prices for older versions of the iPad as well. They could in turn stimulate consumers attracted to the Kindle Fire and Nook Tablet to come their way and identify with their iOS platform at a cheaper price.
Everything comes down to a new iPad approaching out in February, and everyone is anticipating its arrival. As yet, February seems to be the launching time and with any luck, there will be new iPads created and sold for many years in the future. Still, many are apprehensive to see what the freshly iPad 3 will appear like and curiosity still if there will be others.
